Once we put in place a counselling contract I will collect data for the purposes of your initial assessment and for contact purposes:

I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office - ICO (https://ico.org.uk) and abide by The Data Protection Act 2018 (UK’s implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the NCPS ethical code (https://ncps.com/about-us/code-of-ethics)
I will only collect personal data (name, email, telephone number) for the purposes of establishing contact with you to discuss or arrange counselling. If you decide not to proceed with my service, I will delete your information within 24 hours. I will not pass on your data to third parties or process it.
If you decide to proceed with counselling, I will protect your personal data and will not pass on your data to third parties. I process your data for the purpose of maintaining contact with you and inline with our counselling agreement.
I use secure email and apply multi-factor authentication / password protection on files and electronic devices. I use WhatsApp Business for online counselling sessions which is a secure platform and does not capture information or record.
Once we put in place the counselling agreement, I will hold your data for the purposes of your contact purposes, assessments:
Notes taken during counselling will be concise, will not include identifiable information and they will be held separate from your personal data. I will retain your information for 7 years for indemnity insurance purposes.
